Part 1 –
Over the years Pr Harold Harker has led 24 tour groups to different European countries and the Bible lands. Not only has he organised and led the tours, but he has researched and provided information on each site to those who joined him. Come with us as he takes us on an armchair tour of Rome. You will learn many new things and, if you have been there before, you will enjoy these places again. This program is part one of our tour of Rome. Remember––History is His story. May this tour draw you closer to our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Part 2 –
This program is the second in our tour of Rome with Pr Harold Harker, an experienced European and Bible lands tour leader. We will visit many historical sites that you may never have known existed and you will learn some interesting historical facts. You will also be reminded that our salvation is a free gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ as our Saviour, not through works. Sit back, relax, and enjoy this armchair tour of Rome, part 2. Remember––History is His story.
Sometimes we can take a road in life that WE think will bring glory to God. Our motives may seem good, but those very things can become a snare. Nwamiko Madden was raised in a Christian home and always had a strong sense of God in his life. But that didn’t keep him from venturing into a place where he could be trapped by Satan. He sought fame, thinking he would be able to witness for God more effectively that way. But God stepped in to save him and closed the door. Then He opened up a new ministry for Miko. Listen to his story. It may help YOU stay away from Satan’s deceptive traps.
Dr Sven Östring hosts a lively discussion with Dr John Ashton and a panel of young people from various backgrounds on the origins of life. Is the popular theory of Evolution even possible? What does science say? Is there an alternative? The answers might surprise you.
Sunday morning 10 am session with Pr Stephen Duncan.
The resurrection is the foundation of the Christian Faith. In fact, the disciples’ faith was based on it. The Bible is a Safe that holds inside the eye-witness accounts of Jesus’ followers. Lift up Jesus, Tell His story and how that has impacted our story.
“Lord, how often shall my brother or sister sin against me, before I stop forgiving them?” Peter’s question is our question. Jesus’ response to Peter challenges US to the very core of our being, as He zeroes in on the heart of forgiveness.
What is the difference between deafness and being hard of hearing? If they are different, do you help these two impairments in the same way? How does hearing loss affect communication, mental health, and relationships? Audiologist Graham Weir answers these questions, and more. He also leads us through the most recent technology to help hearing impaired individuals enjoy church attendance––something many with hearing impairment are not able to do. What can WE do to help our deaf and hard of hearing church members have a meaningful church/fellowship experience each week? Listen and learn so you can make a difference for this often forgotten group within our churches.
Join us as we meet 5 young adults who have been working, house to house, selling and giving away Christian literature––despite COVID–19. Why do they knock on doors where they can be met by uninterested or, worse still, abusive householders? What motivates them to put themselves in the firing line day after day? It certainly isn’t the money, right? We let the young people answer these questions as they give testimony of how God opens doors for them at just the right moment. Be inspired! You may be motived to join them in this important frontline work.
Many times we have spoken with people who have been missionaries in Pacific island nations. This time we speak with two brothers who, along with their 2 other brothers, were missionary kids in Papua New Guinea, after WWII. Ray and Don Boehm talk about the places they lived, things that happened, and the blessing it was to have such a wonderful upbringing and opportunity. One of the lessons they learned was that, although there are always negatives in life, we should focus on the blessings that God gives us, and be content.
