Cedavale is a health retreat located in the highlands south of Sydney, NSW. Andrew Wigglesworth and Kaysie Vokurka join us to share what God has done for Cedarvale from 2019 through to today. In that time they have faced devastating bushfires, water stopping drought, as well as land sliding downpours, and the global pandemic that forced them to close their doors for a while. But, through it all God led and sustained them. Now they are expanding into Victoria. We can be raised to believe in Jesus then, as we get a little older and, as we suppose, a little wiser, we may turn away from Him. We can become lazy in prayer, reading our Bibles, and going to church to worship God. The world takes hold of our hearts, and we change leaders. But God doesn’t forget us. He still works to bring us back. Sometimes it is the still, gentle voice of the Holy Spirit that breaks through our stupidity and worldly wisdom. Other times, God allows something more drastic to get our attention. This was the experience of Esther Chang. Esther Chang was a recent guest but didn’t have time to tell all her stories of God’s miraculous healing and intervention in her life. So, she is back to tell us more about what God’s has done for her. Not only will she tell a story she didn’t have time to share during the last interview, she has experienced another amazing situation SINCE that interview. Ebenezer stones were set up in ancient Israel to help future generations remember what God had done for them and their people. But, they forgot–their memories grew dim. We need to set up these memorials too, so we don’t forget God’s working in our lives, and so we can share them with others. Rosemary Malkiewycz has had the privilege of listening to many testimonies while hosting this program. Today she shares with you some of HER Ebenezer Stone experiences with God. She hopes to bring you encouragement and even new insight into how God works in our lives.
Mission. The word conjures up different thoughts in each mind. But, whichever way you look at it, mission is important to the Christian church, as Jesus told us to go to the world to spread His Good News to all people. This work has to be done before He returns.
