Kyle & Elizabeth Serra have been on the staff of 3ABN Australia since late 2013. They have both “worn many hats” in this ministry. Elizabeth is usually the first contact that people have with 3ABN Australia, either by phone, email, or for those who come to the studio to visit or to purchase products. Kyle’s main work at this time is running 3ABN Australia Radio. But what is their background? This week we find out who they are and how God has led in their lives, bringing them together from opposite sides of the world.
Alcohol. It is a common commodity in the shops today––even supermarkets are selling it to cash in on this very lucrative market. But, is it what the advertising really makes it out to be? Does it improve your life, or make you more popular? Is it really impossible to have a fun time without it? Dr John Ashton wrote a book titled “ Uncorked” where he reveals some of the lesser known hazards of drinking alcohol. Listen as he takes us through some of these risks. Pr Mike Browning has been the producer for our series Sabbath School lesson, “Let God Speak”, since we began recording it back in 2015. For a long time, he was also the host of every program and wrote every script for the panel members. He has done a wonderful work for God and has now passed the job of producer to Rod Butler. We talk with both these men and discuss the series, its evolution, the work that goes into producing it, and watch some ‘bloopers’––something we all enjoy.
God wants to be involved in our lives, in all situations. The Petrie family went to Africa as missionaries during dangerous and troubled days. Margaret and her son, Kevin, tell of some of the times God became involved and protected the family, answering Margaret’s prayers. Kevin also speaks of how his personal faith became real. Although God doesn’t always seem to answer our prayers, we know He does want to be involved with us and to make our faith real.

Ellen White says that we should not forget the way that God has led us in the past. Recounting the things He has done can be very encouraging for both us and those who hear our stories. Because of this, we decided to tell some of the stories of 3ABN Australia, the way God led, and some of the amazing things He did––many could be called miracles and, certainly, Divine appointments.

Rod Butler, producer of ‘Let God Speak’, continues his interview with John and Rosemary Malkiewycz concerning the early days of 3ABN Australia. This program concentrates more on their first trip around Australia to promote 3ABN and to see if it was possible to receive the satellite signal along the east coast. Not only were they able to successfully install dishes all the way around the country, and in the red centre, they also continued to have Divine appointments and amazing installations. You will enjoy their stories.
Dr Allen Sonter has studied different Bible characters to find out more about them and what we can learn from their stories.
